And THAT'S why I'm not changing my stance. If Tank was really determined to change his life around, he wouldn't have been out at 3 am, especially not on what was essentially his first day of freedom. I believe that those who are determined to make amends for past trangressions should be capable of self-penitance. (Yes, I realize that I'm imposing my own self standards on Tank...) A person that claims to want to change, but then continues with the same actions they did before the damage is a person I cannot trust.
Yes, Tank has every right to go out and party right now, but his superiors have every right to see that behavior as "this guy doesn't take his promises seriously and is not determined to change his life for the better."
