[CBFF] David Haugh: Well, said

First of all, your "scared straight" concept is not realistic. You can't
expect someone to change every single aspect of their life instantly. That's
like crash dieting. It might work for a few weeks, a few months, but it's
never going to work on a long-term basis.

And yeah, "walking on egg shells" is a great way for an NFL player to live
his life. Sure. Quarantine himself in his apartment playing Jenga all summer
and then go out and knock people's heads off in training camp. Maybe it is
the correct, logical answer in theory, but it does not address human nature
at all.

Tank might indeed be flouting his responsibilities, might not have taken his
warning seriously, might be headed to an early vacation to the former NFL
players' pile. All this is quite possible. It's also possible that he's been
totally serious but not perfect, like a guy switching to a healthy diet but
sneaking in the occasional cheesecake.

The point is that 3:30 a.m. means jack shit by itself. You might as well
evaluate Tommie Harris on his sack totals.
