Haha, what's funny, is that there is a substance that is guaranteed to hasten your death - yet people can't seem to stop.

Anyway, I'm not passing judgement on this because I got pulled over at around midnight when I didn't eat all day and finally got hungry and got Taco Bell. No alcohol involved at all - just had heard and noticed that the bridge between the cities wasn't patrolled and went 15 over. I mean, it's speeding for cripes sake. Only 15 over which is my limit too. Oh well, we'll see what happens.

No... I think, when you look at what's on the line here, you do expect
someone with any semblance of a brain to go 'scared straight', at
least for a little while... like maybe the month off between the last
mini-camp and training camp. If tank can't or won't focus on the
repercussions of what something like this will provide, he's either an
idiot or playing everyone for a fool, or both. Come on, just think
about it:

* No chance for early admittance into the league
* Quite possibly an increase in his suspension to a whole season
* The lost income of that suspension (millions of dollars!!)
* The lost respect from every teammate, coach, management, and
ownership who believed everything he said...
* speaking of what he said; looking like a total idiot now with
regard to those statements about NFL man of the year, starting new and
learning his lesson...
* A very, very distinct probability of being cut from the team.

There's sooooooo much on the line that just saying you can't expect a
person to change immediately just doesn't hold water.

Just like if the consequence of not starting a diet cold turkey is
death, or something like it, you would expect that person to think
about the next thing that goes into his mouth very seriously.... the
same goes for Tank; you would think he would consider his action very
seriously before getting into that car at 3:30 in the morning, after
having even one too many drinks, if that's what it turns out being
what he's done. Apparently, it's only about Tank and what Tank
want's.
