Actually, the way the Score reported it last night, the trade is contingent
on the TJ agreeing to terms with the Jets on a long-term deal.  The way
these things work, TJ's agent--Mr. Satan himself--was the one who engineered
the trade.  Effectively, he was authorized by the Bears to seek a team who
would trade for the equivalent of a 3rd round pick and sign his client to
the kind of deal he wants.

So it is virtually certain that Jones will sign such a deal with the Jets
and be in green and white next season.
