[CBFF] Breaking news: Thomas Jones traded to Jets!!!

There were rumors that the Packers might have been interested. Without Ahman Green they're thin at RB, but I don't know what they would offer and the whether the Bears even considered trading within the division.

Actually, the way the Score reported it last night, the trade is contingent
on the TJ agreeing to terms with the Jets on a long-term deal.  The way
these things work, TJ's agent--Mr. Satan himself--was the one who engineered
the trade.  Effectively, he was authorized by the Bears to seek a team who
would trade for the equivalent of a 3rd round pick and sign his client to
the kind of deal he wants.

So it is virtually certain that Jones will sign such a deal with the Jets
and be in green and white next season.
