My biggest concern is AP, in fact. Not as a RB but as a special-teamer.

OTOH, there is no better way to ensure a continuous stream of good 
special-teamers -- not just free agents, but motivating talented young 
players to play their best -- than by saying, we're starting you on special 
teams, but if you kick butt, you'll get your shot when you're ready.
