He was a rookie. That could happen to just about any rookie QB thrown into
the same situation (dumbing down the offense and a bad game). He had a
great game as well vs the Lions if I recall... all and all, I think he did
as well as could be expected considering the circumstances. And what we
don't know is how he would have responded if they would have opened up the
offense for him...
I think he's getting a bit of a bum rap, AFAIC....
