He could be, but he also had Steve Smith opposite him.

If he plays again, I'm willing to bet he's third or fourth reciever on a team. It's not like Carolina has a lot of depth (Dwayne Jarret, Drew Carter and Keary Colbert) and they released him.

He had 800 yards receiving just last year.  I'm not advocating the Bears
pick him up but he's good enough to play somewhere I'm sure.
