Reggie Bush, the second best RB on his team and second or third best WR?

If you have a choice between a guy with the potential to be Julius Peppers or a guy with the potential to be a slightly better Eric Metcalf, who would you pick?

Sorry, I'm just sick and tired of everyone piling on this pick without thinking about it. You can definitely argue the Texans should have taken Vince Young - they shouldn't have given Carr that option bonus though. However, RB is a fungible position and DE and QBs are hard to find and incredibly important. IIRC they're 2 of the 3 highest paid positions in the league.

Yeah, I'm not sure what Adam is drinking here, but you're right Tom,
the fact that the Texans wanted him confirms that it was a reach.  Any
team that takes Mario Williams over Reggie Bush has no clue what they
are doing.
