[CBFF] Bears' Brown just exploring trade possibilities

What WR would be available though?
I think Brown will play this year (because the coaches claim to love depth, blah, blah) and when the season ends they unload O-gunleye or Brown. Since we're talking about Brown this season it sounds like he's the one that'll be gone. The only other thing I can see is the Bears trading Brown and Briggs for some top flight talent, but that seems far-fetched since Briggs wants a new contract and Brown's motivation probably concerns money too.
Wonder if a Brown+Briggs for Calvin Johnson trade would make sense...

I find this interesting. While Anderson was good as a situational pass
rusher we haven't seen much of what he can do against the run. Brown
is solid if unspectacular against the run which is why I wouldn't be
too keen on trading him unless........
.........we were to somehow obtain a top tier WR for him. Given the
fact we just played in the SB we need someone who can step in right
away, not draft picks.

Either the Bears really like Anderson or they think they can get some value for Brown and don't want to pay his salary (not that it's that big IIRC). Brown's motivation is either he sees the writing on the wall or he thinks he can cash in on last year.
