I honestly don't know what to make of this division. The Packers,
Lions and Vikings just put the hurt on three pretty decent AFC teams.
1 - The Lions and Packers are having really good years, but I still
don't know if they're for real and just taking advantage of really bad
teams. Then again, the same might be said of the 06 Bears. The Packers
have no running game and the Lions (supposedly) have huge holes in the
defense (although Denver couldn't find them). But who can argue with
their records?
2 - I hate the Vikings. And I hate that they have Peterson. For
whatever reason, they don't seem to go too long without huge talents
on offense. Anthony Carter to Chris Carter to Robert Smith to Randy
Moss to Daunte Culpepper and now to AP.
I hate them, I hate them, I hate them!
3 - Seeing all three division rivals beat the crap out of AFC
opponents today not only made me a sick, but pretty much sealed the
Bears playoff picture... as in, there will be none.
4 - Lastly, I was bouncing back and forth between the Lions/Denver and
Packers/Chiefs game today. Once Fox tuned into the Vikes/Chargers, I
stopped flipping just to see AP have his way with Norv's crew. But
before I did, caught a play in KC of Alfonzo Boone putting a nice bull
rush against Favre. And it got me to thinking... I hate Jerry Angelo.
I hate him, I hate him, I hate him!
