Not entirely true.  Griese was a Pro Bowl QB in Denver.  In TB he went 5-1
as a starter.  Most of the reason those teams didn't hang on to him had to
do with off field issues.

Bottom line, the league is about what have you done for me lately and lately
he hasn't been good.  If I were you I'd stick to that.
