Last year, last year, last year. What happened this year?

I'll tell you. He looked exactly the same as he did when he finished
(miserably) last year. He wasn't progressing, Steve. He was making the
same pre-snap reads, loosing the dragon and throwing into the same double
and triple coverage with no consideration whatever for subsequent shifts in
the defense or for what was going on after the ball was snapped. He did the
exact same thing again last week and was almost intercepted.

Nonsense. I'll shut up when you tell me how he's progressed and is better
this year than last year. You tell me what he's learned. I thought I
detected a little better movement in the pocket but I saw no other
demonstrable signs of improvement.

I hope the guy does well. Maybe the benching did him good. But I saw no
signs of it last week. I'll be watching closely for them if he starts again
and if I find them, great. But I don't have much hope of it.
