Didn't mean my reply to be so personal to those on the list... was listening
to internet radio last night and was fed a constant stream of 'Rex the
mental midget' and everything negative under the sun in regards to a guy who
just went out and won a game like he's paid to do... and was still a little
ticked off.  Sorry if it came out wrong.

Basically it boils down to this for me:  Even though he's melted down in
several games, he's still done enough for me many of the other games to
warrent another shot (afterall, this is the first time he's ever been sat
down... let's see how he responds).  If he doesn't respond, fine and
dandy..I'll show him the door myself. But to sit the guy for the first and
only time and then say 'that's it, your done.  You get no more chances'
doesn't sit well with me, especially when we know he has the stuff if he can
figure it out.

Greise's not the guy, and I'd rather see Rex for the rest of the season try
to get over the hump than Orton try to prove he's a franchise QB.  Because
if Rex get's it in time for the playoffs, we have a much better chance of
doing something in those playoffs that with either of the other two.
