Yes and no. Sure, you should be able to have guys who are of the same 
philosophy as you, but to what extent? Rivera was successful. If it were 
me (and you will note my lack of NFL coaching credentials), I wouldn't 
care if my DC ran the Greg Blache "sacks don't matter" defense and my 
O-C ran the run-and-shoot. If they were consistently winning games, they 
get to stay.
