Turner is horrible. I hope he's canned at the end of the year. But I doubt
it will happen.

I find it funny how Griese spends all day in the shotgun but Rex only gets a
handful of shotgun snaps??!! Wtf?

So I think everyone got the idea that the most disturbing thing I saw
yesterday was the continued tendency of the offense to turn the ball over.
Here's the second most disturbing thing.

I saw on ESPN that Griese threw 52 passes. What was the offense doing
throwing 52 passes? There are so many things wrong with that I can't count
them all but it starts at the top and goes all the way down to the backup
left tackle.

For some reason I was able to take last week's loss pretty well. But this
one sticks in my craw. I think it's because the Lions played so badly and
the Bears still managed to lose. We talk about injuries and all of the
things that are out of the Bears' control and those are good points. But
that's not what's killing the team. What's killing them is really poor play
in so many aspects of the game. Dumb things that teams like the Lions do
but that good teams like the Bears aren't supposed to. The things that
really make the difference between winning and losing. This game
highlighted for me how badly the Bears are playing.

It's too early to give up but this could be a really awful season if they
continue to look like they did yesterday.

Tom S.
