[CBFF] Benson gets another unappreciated rest

It would also seem to appear that if a particular play works, Turner will
not go back to it for weeks, let alone during the game.

Vice vesely it also appears that when a play does not work, Turner will go
back to it three more times during that game, with my guess being Turner
must think the opposing defense will not look for a play that was a failure
the first two to three times it was ran.

I'm sorry, but this is lame. Really lame. Ron Turner has got to stop
tinkering with the RB position. It really feels like outthinking yourself
and your players. The rap on Cedric is that he gets better with
repetitions--heck, it is true of most RBs. I can feel the difference when
Benson comes back in the game. He is cold and he has to get warmed up again
to the hitting and feel of the game. Things like rhythm and repetition DO
matter with running backs. If Benson were a high energy guy who's always
'on,' so to speak, I could better understand this approch. But he's
motivationally not very tough and isn't apparently able to turn it 'on' and
'off' at will.

Leave him in the game, Ron.

Steve
