Additionally, Berrian should be held to a higher standard. He's supposedly on his way to being a clear-cut #1 for the Bears and someone other teams fear/envy. Moose, OTOH, is on the downside of his career, even if he is occupying the "reliable veteran" role, and we all realize this.
That's why the Berrian drops hurt more, and why many (including me now) are down on him. We know and expect him to be better than what he was on Sunday.

Huh? Berrian is 'out-producing' Moose at a drop-a-game rate, Chris. At
least. Yesterday's drop would have been for a first down. Again. You
can't tell me that Bernard is substantially better than Moose right now.
That argument just won't fly. It won't even flutter off the ground for a
few feet.
Fact is, neither of these guys are playing very well. No Bear WR looks like
the real deal right now. IMO, they should give Mike Hass a shot. Couldn't
hurt.
