Apparently he took the drugs without any medical supervision. So, he's a big fat liar because there's no way you'd randomly guess that HGH will cure or help with diabetes.
Wonder how many more names will be released since this is the same drug bust that got the 13 wrestlers, including 3 guys who died (Benoit, Guerrero, and some other guy)?

According to a similar ESPN article, Wade stated that the drugs were to
treat his diabetes, and he never gave drugs to any players, for what it's
worth.
