*1. Chicago at San Diego: L.T. against the Bears' "D" … what gives?*

LaDainian Tomlinson went nuclear with his game in 2007, totaling an
NFL-record 31 touchdowns. With better-than-expected QB Philip Rivers
softening up opposing defenses, Tomlinson rushed, received and raced his way
to one of the most impressive seasons the NFL has ever seen. But Brian
Urlacher's not impressed. Neither is Lance Briggs. Nor Tommie Harris, Nathan
Vasher or Adam Archuleta — at least that's what a Bears fan base is hoping
after spending the better part of eight months listening to pundits canonize
L.T. while giving token praise to the otherworldly defense of the Super Bowl
runners-up.

*My hunch*: Tomlinson will get his yards (when does he not?), but an even
tougher Bears defense will hold the 2006 league MVP to 80 rushing yards and
out of the endzone — breaking the hearts of all those who mortgaged their
house for the right to buy L.T. with the first pick of their fantasy auction
draft.
