As I understand it, anytime. Just like that, no questions asked.
But if he's getting paid and expected to stay there the whole season in a
system he's familiar with, why would he take a shot at another team offering
the same money and maybe not play, maybe only last a couple of games before
being cut?
It's beautiful. Like keeping 9 OLs. And not really that expensive to do so.
