I didn't say he'd be Smith.  And I didn't say he'd become a starter...though
I think he can at some point.  Starter or not, he's still a core player to
me.

You didn't say he would what? You have him listed as a future core WR.
While I'm intrigued by the possibilities his talent could bring to the
O, I don't see him becoming a starter.
