[CBFF] ESPN Talks Bears, (Mostly lack of QB....)

ESPN talking heads finally had a lengthy discussion on the Bears , but
mostly it quickly degenerated into the QB bashing.  Sounded like they really
like the LSU Corner pick, calling him Plank-esque and saying he could really
help out on Special Teams.

I think this draft can be rated to ways; 1) if your still on the "current
QB's on the Roster" bandwagon, whoever that might be... or 2) Gotta have a
quality QB and we don't so we have to get one NOW.

If your in the #1 camp, I think it's been a great draft so far.  Not sure if
I liked the trading down bit, but they didn't trade out of the 4th round and
hopefully got the guy they were looking for.  I wonder if they didn't trade
down the second time because their pick was picked up right in front of
them?  We'll never know, I guess.  Hopefully we'll pick up at least 2
quality players with the remaining picks.  Icing if we get more than that.

If your in camp #2, you've got to be pretty disappointed right about now,
because nothing is going to get better now that there's nobody decent behind
center to speak of.

I like to think alot of Rex's problems were from a breakdown in protection,
in which case, we've definitely improved in that dept.  I think I would have
liked to have gotten the best available OG in the pre-trade 4th round pick,
but maybe we'll find the next OL upgrade in FA before next season. We shall
see.

But if the draft ended right now, I'd be a happy Bears Fan.
