They have a lot of passing drills so the teams get to watch them throw passes to guys running routes and of course there are the interviews. There's no better opportunity to talk to these guys and find out what's going on.
BTW, I haven't heard anything yet, but for the past couple years some of the guys from Football Outsiders have come to town for the combine and they've set up meetings afterward for anyone interested in talking football with them. I've taken advantage of that in the past and found out the general consensus of the scouts on who looked better, what GMs are looking at, etc. I'll send out the information when they'll be around and any information I've gleaned from them. I'm mostly interested in how everyone thinks Flacco did and how the o-linemen looked.

Do you really think the combine makes that much of a difference for
QBs? It's not like his 40 time is going to matter that much. And I
don't think making throws under somewhat controlled conditions is an
accurate test. They should have enough evidence of his capabilities
looking at him on film.
