I've received more than 50 emails since Marty Booker was released by the
Miami Dolphins Monday inquiring about the chances of the Bears re-signing
their former receiver.
LMAO
Though, I'd love to see Booker back.

Are Bears interested in re-signing Booker? - Chicago Bears
Larry: Could you see Marty Booker back in a Bears uniform? I liked him
a lot before his trade to Miami, and the Bears could use him on
offense.
Bjarke H.
Aalborg, Denmark
Bjarke: I've received more than 50 emails since Marty Booker was
released by the Miami Dolphins Monday inquiring about the chances of
the Bears re-signing their former receiver. I wouldn't advise fans to
start digging out their old Booker jerseys just yet, but I know he was
a popular player within the organization and wouldn't be surprised if
the Bears at least considered bringing him back for a second tour of
duty. I believe he still owns a home in the Chicago area and I know
that he enjoyed playing with the Bears. He's not the same receiver who
had 100 and 97 receptions in consecutive seasons in 2001-02, but he
was still productive for an awful Dolphins team this past year,
catching 50 passes for 556 yards and 1 TD.
Larry: I wasn't aware until recently that Tennessee Titans head coach
Jeff Fisher played for the Bears. What type of career did he have in
Chicago?
Zach P.
Lansing, Illinois
Zach: Jeff Fisher appeared in 49 games as a defensive back and return
specialist in four seasons with the Bears from 1981-84 after arriving
as a seventh-round draft pick from USC. He earned a Super Bowl ring in
1985 despite spending the season on injured reserve. He served as an
unofficial coach that season, helping defensive coordinator Buddy
Ryan. I was in the stands on Sept. 20, 1981 when Fisher returned a
punt 88 yards for a touchdown against Tampa Bay, which at the time was
the longest punt return by a Bears player in 39 years. Fisher still
owns Bears records for punt returns in a season (58) and a game (8).
Larry: How many quarterbacks were selected in the draft before Kyle
Orton in 2005?
Frank P.
Chicago
Frank: The following six quarterbacks were chosen before the Bears
picked Kyle Orton in the fourth round (106th overall): Alex Smith
(1st by 49ers), Aaron Rodgers (24th by Packers), Jason Campbell (25th
by Redskins), Charlie Frye (67th by Browns), Andrew Walter (69th by
Raiders) and David Greene (85th by Seahawks).
