This could be a fatal mistake, that is, calling Hester a true #1 WR. I
agree with Josh P., he's dangerous but doesn't have the full set of
skills to be "utilized more like Randy Moss."
Using Hester in the slot would utilize his best skill: running up
field and picking his way around tacklers. Wes Welker really pisses
people off in this regard, little 3 yard slants turning into 25
yarders. Being a WR on the outside is going to require him to run
precise routes, be in sync with the QB, fight for the ball, shake
defenders to get open, BLOCK on occasion, CATCH the damn ball.......
