I'm coming in late on this thread, but of all the changes that need to
be made on this roster, I think QB might just be the least of the
them. I still want to see what either Orton or Rex can do with a
decent line in front of them. With Griese under contract, there's no
point in getting rid of him; he's one of the best back-up QBs in the
league.
The real debate should be surrouding RB. I heard a sound bite from
Benson from Halas Hall yesterday that just about had me driving into a
ditch on I-294. When asked what he was going to do differently in the
off-season to prepare for the 2008 season, his answer was, "Nothing
really."
"Nothing really?" Are you frig'n kidding me? Even my defense of
Benson has its limits.
