Rex isn't stupid, he's a risk taker. He wants to win the big one. His
fatal flaw is not having a realistic mental view of his own abilities.

I think more to the point is that saying "anybody" is dangerous. You
really need to target someone who will be an improvement, fit the
scheme and fit within what you want to do with the salary cap. The FA
list is very uninspiring, so hanging onto Orton/Rex is especially cap
friendly, freeing up money for other areas.
