Yeah, but who? The Derek Anderson argument doesn't hold water if you
believe the Bears still have the talent to be one of the top teams in
the NFC. If you believe that, do you really want to roll the dice? The
difference is that Cleveland wasn't expected to be a contender and
needed a place holder for Quinn. They got lucky and it's a great
story, but with all the lamenting that has been done about the QB
position being the weak link you want to just take a leap of faith?
Orton could be the next Derek Anderson, he's show enough in three
games after sitting on the bench for two years for me to be
comfortable with him going into training camp. We need to use our
resources to improve in other areas.
