I do not believe that they have the talent to be one of the top teams in the
NFC.  They have many needs and QB is one of them.  It should be taken care
of, in at least a limited fashion, along with the rest.

Yes.  Truthfully, I don't think it’s a big risk.  Just shaking things up and
bringing in new blood might help break the log jam.  And, as with Cleveland,
if you have a good GM who has done his homework you might get lucky.

Believe me, if Griese's contract were up I'd be saying the same thing about
him.  Let him go and let's try something different.  It just happens that
Grossman's is up and Griese is signed through 2010.  I think we know who he
is and I don't think it's good enough.

Could be.  All the more reason to let Grossman walk and take a chance on
someone else.  Yeah, there's a small chance he'll be worse.  Its most likely
he'll be no better.  But at least there's hope that they could hit the
jackpot.
