Griese is 100K.

hell, if that's the case, screw it and cut his ass and ONLY sign Rex if his
cap hit for 08 will be at or below what Griese's would have been.

Jim,

If I recall correctly (and I may not) Griese got between 4 and 5 Million in
signing bonus.  Lets call it 4.5.  His first season was 2006 which means he
has 3 years left on the deal.

4.5/5 * 3 = 2.7 million cap hit when the remaining bonus is accelerated into
the cap.  Maybe my facts are wrong?
