My own thoughts:
1) The Giants stuck it out over the past few years with their
inconsistent QB and were rewarded. This is why Rex deserves one more chance.
2) The outcome of this game was a win-win. Either I get to see the
Packers cry like little girls, or Tom Coughlin with that look on his face.
3) Favre won't retire. GB's window is open. I'm guessing they are in the
market for a pass rushing DT, a stud RB, and (after tonight's game) some
DBs. Still, in the NFC, they have a good shot to get back next year.
4) Interesting matchup of two coaches from the Parcells coaching tree.
