[CBFF] [NBR] Why character matters

Support the AAFL. It's a league with six teams that allocate most of the players regionally by the Universities they attended. The players must have a degree (so it doesn't really work they way you want), but they get paid ~100,000 for their services. If something like that takes off with college fans supporting the regional teams it might weaken the ties between the college and the athletics.

Or, hope the new league Cuban and some investors are trying to start will accept any high school graduate and still compete well against the NFL.

Yes, you've understood me correctly.

Funny thing is, I think faculty members at most of these institutions would
love my idea. One night over dinner I shared it with a leading philosopher
at Notre Dame. He loved it but shared my pessimism that it would never
happen. He knows how fond the ND faithful are to giving $$$ to support the
Golden Dome and Touchdown Jesus.
