They doubled the guaranteed money the Bears were offering. There was no way
the Bears were going to sign him for that.
Funny how Berrian wanted stability at the QB position, then went to
Minnesota which probably has the most unstable situation in the division.
In any case, I've got no problem with this. The Bears knew what he was
worth. This looks to me like a the grass is greener on the other side of
the fence situation. Berrian is better, of course but dollar for dalloar I
can't imagine it will turn out better than Dwayne Bates did.
