True enough. But its winning and losing long-term that determines if the
market is right.
The Bears had a chance to match the offer. They didn't. They also decide
the market, not "a bunch of dolts like us writing on keyboards."
The Vikings are trying to win a Super Bowl. The Bear are rebuilding. Yes,
short-term the Vikings got a good player. And the Bears have got a problem
at WR. Add it to the list. But long-term in terms of where you invest your
cap, it was probably the right move.
