[CBFF] Kiper's latest mock draft, March 4

Jones does nothing for me. He's no Thomas. He had a bad YPC while behind
the Dallas OL. What's he going to do in Chicago?

Assuming Williams is available.

On Chris's comment, there aren't any safeties rated that high and I
personally don't think DT is a huge need area (especially at #14).

I'd love to grab a stud WR. If Kelly falls to us (which seems
doubtful, all the mocks seem to have Buffalo taking him) I'd like to
take him but like the other positions I'm not convinced the next guys
are #14 talent. Maybe what we're looking at is a trade down. I
personally like Sweed but not necessarily at 14.

As for RBs, a lot of this (obviously) depends on what we do in FA. If
we sign Bryant Johnson then the need for a WR is lessened, similarly
for RB if we grab someone like Julius Jones. The thing about
Mendenhall is he is worthy of the draft slot and Benson is entering
the last year of his contract, so yeah, there's a need there. If you
don't believe Benson is a long term solution then the "heir" is simply
brought into the fold a year early.
