Chris Williams is a 6'6" 315lb senior offensive tackle out of
Vanderbilt. NFL draftscout.com ranks him has the 3rd best offensive
tackle in the 2008 NFL draft and project him as a first round draft
pick. Fox Sports feels he is one of the most underrated. Fox stated:
"Depending on the team, he could be the ideal fit." They called
Williams "one of the best tackles in the draft on the move."

Fox sports said his pass protection needs some work. However, most
rookies have at least some part of their game to work on. He has great
size, wing-span, and athletic ability to compensate for his weakness.
Fox projects Williams as a first round pick and a potential NFL
starter in 2008.

Where will Chris Williams land in the draft? He is projected as a
first round pick and several teams are looking for offensive line
help. He could go as high as 12 by the Denver Broncos. The Carolina
Panthers, Chicago Bears, or Detroit Lions could take Chris with pick
13, 14, or 15. The Philadelphia Eagles, Tampa Bay Buccaneers,
Washington Redskins, Dallas Cowboys, Pittsburgh Steelers, Seattle
Seahawks, San Diego Chargers, San Francisco 49ers, Green Bay Packers,
and New York Giants all could be interested in Chris Williams if he is
still available when they pick. If for some reason Chris slips to the
second round or these teams trade for a lower draft pick then the
Miami Dolphins, St. Louis Cardinals, Atlanta Falcons, Oakland Raiders,
Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, or New
Orleans Saints could be interested in taking him.

Chris Williams has the tools to be a starting offensive tackle in the
NFL. He is projected as a first round pick in this years draft and
several teams could be interested in Chris Williams. Chris Williams is
a name to watch during the middle of the first round.
