I dunno.  I don't think we know enough about Benson or Lovie behind closed
doors to know.  Also, Benson looks perfectly capable to me of suicidal
behavior.  He strikes me as a reckless, spoiled dope, who thinks he can get
away with virtually anything.  I could be wrong.  But frankly, the whole
incident reeks of someone who does not give a damn about his career.  If he
did, he would have quickly and humbly complied with every last request of
the cops for fear it would escalate and turn into an incident that would
threaten his career.  At the very least, I think we can say that was most
definitely NOT Cedric's approach to the incident.
