In 2006 Benson had a DVOA % (quality stat) good for tenth in the league.
Grossman that year had a negative DVOA and was 33rd in the league.

Hell, the first month of 2006, Rex was thought of as a MVP candidate too.
Benson has come no where close to the amount of success as Rex

2008/5/9 mactbone <mactbone0 at yahoo.com>:

showed flashes of good play and some putrid play.

Can't the exact same thing be said of Rex?.... Only that when he flashed
'good play', people thought 'pro-bowl'... When Benson flashed it, people
thought 'about time'.
