*The Bears signed kicker Robbie Gould *to a five-year extension Monday.

Terms of the deal were not immediately disclosed but agent Brian Mackler 
said the deal makes Gould the "highest paid kicker in the NFL." His new 
contract now runs through 2013.

Gould is entering his fourth year in the league with a field goal 
conversion percentage of 84.8 percent (84-of-99) and has missed only one 
PAT in 100 tries.

Of his 84 FGs, 35 have come from 30-39 yards and 25 from 40-49 yards. 
His career-long of 49 yards came against the Giants in New York.

Gould has not participated in team workouts this offseason but will be 
back with the team for when it reports on May 19 for organized team 
activities.
