In an attempt to explain why Brett Favre opted to pass rather than run
the ball and set up a potential game-winning field goal at the end of
the NFC title game, his agent, Bus Cook, released photos to a
Mississippi newspaper showing the quarterback's badly bruised ankle and
hamstring.

New Orleans' Tracy Porter picked off the pass and the Saints went on to
win in overtime and advance to the Super Bowl. Favre has widely been
criticized for throwing the ball, even by the Vikings' own radio
analyst,
